Going outside

Hi there

As its such nice weather just now( well for us in scotland) its 19 C, would it be okay for me to take AJ outside for his first time

He is exaclty 5 months today so im not so sure if its okay

sure, just be sure you watch him, at that age its real easy to loose them. best is to have a leash but if not make sure you have a solid 80 or so feet around where you place him so if he runs off he cant go under your house or into a street or some place you cant reach him. when sindragosa was younger she ran under my old house i rented and i had to go get a pinky to lure her back out as i couldnt fit in the small area she ran under.

I had a roommate a few years ago with a turtle, took it into the backyard one evening to walk around and we never saw it again. Yes, his turtle ran away.
He stopped watching it for a couple minutes and it ran away. A turtle. So imagine how far a beardie could go.
Just keep an eye on him and its fine.
