Going crazy

Yoshi is going crazy. for a long time now he's been trying to get out of his home. Scratching and running back and forth. Jumping onto the netting at the top of the cage and getting stuck by his nails. He even poops and waits till i'm awake to stop. After i feed him in the morning i sleep because i work graveyard shift. so he's not hungry, just being a brat. What's up with this? He only does it till i'm up and at his window. :roll: it's driving me nuts too cuz i can't sleep when he does this.

Sounds like he's just being restless to me. I'm pretty sure that's his way of saying, 'get up, feed me and love me slave! :whip:' I'd be careful with him getting his nails stuck though, maybe lower whatever he's jumping on that gives him reach of the top of the cage, he could seriously injure a nail or two doing this.

I'm not sure how you could teach him to calm down, maybe take him out for about an hour in the morning before you go back to sleep to let him run around and play or snuggle and then try putting him back and getting more rest afterwards.
