Going absolutely nuts since new tank

Got my beardie a nice PVC tank with sliding glass doors because his reflection always agitated him in his old one, but he's gone and found it again in the sliding doors. When he's not attacking the glass, he's tearing everything up and making a tremendous mess trying to climb the vents on the PVC sides. I heard that temps can cause this, but they seem normal - 86 on cool side, basking is 108. Could it be too bright? Could this be agitation from new tank, agitation from reflection, or agitation from temps? Would Krylon clear matte finish reduce the reflective properties of the glass?

It could be a number of things. I would try reducing the temps a bit. Maybe shoot for 103 basking and 81 cool side and see if that helps. How far is the UVB light from the basking area and which type is it? Do you have an area with little to no UVB available?

It could be stress from the new environment which some of them don't handle well but it should go away on it's own after a while. It could also be coincidental and just be an active mood kicking in. If that's the case, some time to run around in a safe area outside of the tank may be helpful as it will burn off some energy and satiate curiosity.
