goblinsly and his beardy saying hi to everyone

Hey everyone,

I am the owner of a tiny cute beardy soo i decided to register on this forum. This is my first post soo on this occasion i say hi to everyone here.

I am 21, from Slovenia. And my beardo is about 4 months old. I said about because when i bought him the owners said he was 2 months old. But he was very skinny and only 12 cm ( 5 inches ) long, soo i assumed he was about 1 month old. I bought him on 18th of february in 2008.

I took pictures of him on the keyboard soo you can see how long he is.

I hope it is ok if i also post questions about my beardo here. If not, mods please inform me and i will create a new topic elsewhere in the forum.

At the moment i have few questions:

First, why is my beardo soo small ? Some ppl say their beardos at 4 months old were much bigger.
Second, why is my beardo deadly afraid of cockroaches that move, its like he gets a panic atack.

I found out hes only afraid of german cockroaches but he wont mind eating argentinian cockroaches. Its like he knows i have about 500 german cockroaches and only about 50 argentinian. He used to eat both before, now he is scared of german ones. And its funny how he knows, when i throw argentinian one inside he eats him right away ( almoast in mid air ) but when i throw the german one ( i used 1 that looks almoast like argentinian one ) he tries to run away.

Are the German ones bigger or faster? Or do they bite? Maybe that's why. :dontknow: Anyway, welcome!

Welcome! Can't blame the little guy, I'm afraid of ALL roaches :wink:.

Hes a real sugar. He is 20cm long now. Is this ok for 5 months old beardo ? He didnt grow at all for the first 2 months.
