Glass Surfing..

My beardie Floki has been glass surfing quite a bit lately.
He is about 350 grams and 5 months old. He is in a 52 gallon tank.
I let him out to play every day.
However, for the last week or so he is constantly glass surfing.
His temps and all that are fine.
I'm kind of unsure what to do or why he is doing it.
Any advice?

My girl does the same thing. At first I realized she was actually stressed out due to the fact that she could see her reflection. To fix it I got a background for her and some vines to cover the sides. Now she does it for one of two reasons (I know her so well lol) EitherA) she's gotta poo and she doesn't like to go in her cage, or B) she just simply wants out. It could be many reasons why your guy is doing this. If your temps are good I would just keep an eye out to see if I noticed anything that could be stressing him out. He may just simply want to get out and play. My girl is the same age and I know she gets random bursts of energy and will start cage dancing out of no where. I just either let her out to play or if it's late I cuddle her up and calm her down.

Maybe it is their age.

No problem. Yes they can be pretty energetic at times lol. I love when my girl actually wants to get out and play/explore. Shows me that she is active and healthy. And in a 52gal your guy has plenty of space so I'm sure he most likely just wants your attention
