Glass surfing while eating?

Whenever I feed my baby beardie, I take out everything in the cage, dust the crickets, then dump them in.

Whenever he sees the crickets (right in front of him) he tries to snatch at them, but if a cricket isn't right in front of him, he'll start glass surfing.

Could this be an eye problem?

No, he is just excited, nervous and restless. Some babies get frightened or overwhelmed by lots of crix crawling around. A tip for feeding.....get a jar or plastic container with a lid, put a pinch of whatever supplement you use add the crickets [ do about 6-7 at a time] shake them up and dump them near your baby. When he eats those, repeat the process. Shaking them up for a moment stuns them a bit so they are slowed down dizzy+ wobbly and easy pickins' for the baby. I did that way for all the many clutches I raised.

I see you have about 3-4 threads here in the health section.... if you would just post these new questions with your other thread it would be easier for anyone responding because they might want to know more history on your baby such as lighting , tank set up, etc. and all that info is in your other threads.

By the way, I see you posted in the E.R that the baby fell, how is he doing ? What is his name ? I hope he's O.K.

Hi! Sorry for posting so much, I just joined this site and everyone is SO helpful! but you're right and I'll do that from now on! And that's understandable, I'll try that and see how it goes.

I just woke him up and waiting for him to move around.
