Ok, i finished his new enclosure last weekend and he moved in Thursday. Here are some pictures:

This one is of the whole enclosure. If you notice the light that is on top of the tank is a 100wt Mega ray and I can adjust if to different heights depending on the temp on his basking spot:

These are of the fake rock that I made and the plants I've enclosed. For the plants I went tomy local Dollar Store and picked up the onion grass and a few bunches of plants stuck them in styrofoam for the look wanted and then I coverd the foam in the grout and sealed it too.

This is the other side of the tank it has a 50 wt basking light so that he has two basking spots one with UVB and one with out:

The basking temps are 101.4 and 89.6. the temp in the middle is 74. :lol:

Is your diy fake rock hard to clean? i made one and its awful when they poop on it.i can get the stuff off!i did 3 coats of that poly-somethin? spray.It smelt like that stuff forever,thats why i was afraid to used more.

Usually Gizmo only goes to the bathroom when I give him a bath, but yesterday I was not fast enough and he went on his basking rock. i was able to wipe it up and then spray it and it cleaned up easily. I used three coats on Minwax Polycrylic and let it air dry for three days and then the MVB burned in for three days on it. I never really had a smell.
