OK, I’ve been lurking for a month now. This is my intro post.
Ginger is our sweetheart beardie. We’ve had her for almost 2 months, and I’d guess she was about a month old when we got her. I chose her because she’s orange, a natural red head like my husband, who has been dying for a bearded dragon after not having any lizards or snakes for years. She was also very calm and loved to be held.
BTW if she turns out to be a he, she will still be known as a she. Did that make sense??
She eats a LOT and is healthy. I’ll make another post concerning her amazing eating habits later. She will not sleep until we wrap her in her fuzzy blanket, which is a piece cut off of my blanket. My blanket is getting smaller and smaller. She LOVES the shower. She does not know she belongs in a desert with prickly cacti. In fact, she has recently adopted the fuzziest and softest dog to be her pet (supervised of course)
That’s about it. You all have been incredibly helpful already and it’s good to “meet” you.
