Gilbert - Loss of apatite.

Gilbert has lost his appetite. He did not eat last night and didn't want anything this morning. I thought it could be parasites but there is no reptile vet available until Monday. Will he be okay if he still doesn't eat for 4 days? I just don't know what to do.

I have given apple as their staple for a long time, but just switched to orange two weeks ago. Also the pallet food that comes with them.

Do you use vitamin or calcium supplements? What brand(s)? How many days a week do you use each of them?
Yes to both and rep-cal is the brand. Calcium is 5x a week and multi-vitamin 2x a week.

Is your dragon having regular bowel movements (poops)?
Usually they wait for a bath to do poops, but if they really can't hold on they do it in their enclosure.

Do you bath your dragon? How often?
I bath them aprox every 3-4days just to make sure they poop for about 15min

Do you mist your dragon or offer water other than in the bath?
Nope I do not have any water in enclosure or mist them because I do not want to raise the humidity.

Does your dragon share an enclosure with another dragon?
No

Have you gotten a vet check and fecal done?
no

Hello . My beardie is about the same age and she is doing the same thing. I asked and I was told that once they start getting older they go through a phase of not wanting to eat. They called it the teenager phase. Daisy didnt eat for 4 days and in those days diecied she hated crickets and butternut squash. And only would like worms and collard greens. I hope this helps but it is also good to get a fecal done though just in case

well that sounds awesome. I have been stressing out all day, trying to hand feed him things and all he would do is just close his eyes. I just drove out to the pet store and grabed some roaches to see if he would eat them but no go. Just now I offered him some bitternut squash and he had about 6 pieces, then stopped.

It is odd, I left 1 cricket in the enclose for about 30min and paid no interest, offered him some quash and smashed it down. Would be nice if anyone else could confirm this also.
