Getting Nelly out of hide in the am

Hey all. So just a curiosity question, I've had Nelly for about 6 months, I'd say he might be 8 months old. Hard to say as I did, yes, get him/her (still unsure) from the dreadful petsmart. Regardless - he's always seemed healthy.
I'm curious as to when he decides to sleep in his hide, he often won't come out in the mornings on his own, his hide is also on the cool side so I realize it's partly because he's probably not getting overly warm in the morning so still sluggish. I'm just wondering if it is bad that in such situations I have always removed the hide to get him out. He's never shown a sign of real stress or black beard doing this. But given that I generally have to leave for work within an hour of his lights going on I feel it's necessary so I can feed him. Thoughts?

This is the lighting setup. Dual fixture has 100w basking bulb and CHE.
Compact light bar thing has a new 26w 150 uvb.
Deep dome has old 5.0uvb which came with his old tank.
Already talked to CooperDragon about uvb setup, so I'll purchase a proper tube when I get doh for that.

do you think if you moved his hide under the basking bulb he would still be able to bask on top of it? And then the light on top would also increase the heat in the hide?

Ya probably. That's how I had it in the smaller tank with the smaller hide. When I upgraded I got that branch thing and made the hide you see now, and he immediately climbed all over the branch, so I thought it would be a nice basking area. Maybe I'll just play around with the lights and move the CHE closer to the hut at night and test that out. I don't wanna rearrange too much often.

How much heat do those under pads give off though? Do people generally turn them off when heat lamp comes on?
I guess I'd have to test out temps with it.
I haven't looked into them much.

for the UTH i record temps of up to 98 ish degrees directly through the glass. Fred has his sleeping area right above it so to protect against hotspots i have reptile carpet lining the inside of tank, then playsand to distribute the heat. hottest it gets is right around 90. Fred just smooshes himself into the sand at night. I leave it on during the day also, basking spot is above his bed/fake-'Bush'-hide so that end of tank stays hot while other side stays low 80's

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
