Getting Dragon to show colors

do you think i should complain - and possible make a claim through paypal? what should i do.. i gave them a couple days to adjust and the females look like pretty normal beardies to me

well im not sure complaining to paypal will make a difference. If you are truly not satisfied with the dragons then I would talk to the person you purchased them from. Express to him/her that what he advertised in the pictures looks to be different than what you received. Maybe he has other dragons you could exchange them for, or maybe he will just give you a full refund. If he/she is any kind of reputable breeder, he will try and do what it takes to make sure the customer is pleased.

Were they sold as citrus morph? Thats kinda what they look like to me, citrus are fairly dull as babies but gain color as they age. Honestly, I think they will color up nicely but it definatly was wrong of the seller to use enhanced photos.
Normal dragons are more grey and darker as babies, maybe you can google citrus dragons and see if you can find pics of young babies to compare yours with.
I don't know what you payed for them but if it was me, I would keep them

We almost bought these two beardies. Cinderella Boi took entirely too long to send us pictures of them in "normal" lighting, so we knew something was up. He has a new set of dragons up for sale and what should be the lighter bars on the back are flourescent like they are under a black light.

Yea.. Cinderella boy is a dishonest seller to say the least.


You can see on the new ad he has posted the beardies mouth is a purple neon color.. Its very obvious he is modifying the orignal colors(whether it be lighting or editing). I sent him a message explaining about the differences..and his response was that the beardies were stressed (they are hard feeding and have none of the symptoms of stress) my uvb bulb was to far away(my uvb bulb is 4 inches from my basking area) and that my basking area should be atleast 115(a little high imo I keep mine at 107 most people I know recommend 100-110 max)

Now for the part that really proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that he changed the natural coloring of the beardies in his pics.

About 2 days after his arrived 2 more beardies I bought showed up from beardedwizard(very nice guy and a reputable breeder) and AMAZINGLY the beardies looked exactly like the pictures he had posted in his forsale ad.

Also a note to future buyers or potential buyers he told me originally they would be shipped next day air and after he shipped them he told me he sent them by express mail which took 2 days and there was no heatpack in their box, it was in the upper 40s to low 50s when they showed up at my house

The issue has been resolved.

I received a partial refund, which I am more then happy with.

well not that it matters, i sent the pictures to a friend whos a photo-shop guru, and he laughed "these are defiantly shopped" and he restored the pictures.

Pictures were enhanced
