Hi,
I’ve been a member on here for a while and have learnt a lot from reading through the forums.I have three bearded dragons:nanook 1 and a half, male, had from a baby,Terence 7 months, male, had from a baby and miss bee,female,3(guess from previous carer),came as a rescue after being abandoned at a house share.Bee was left by her owner at his house who he shared with a couple ,the woman who was left with bee told me that bee was housed with 6 other bearded dragons before he moved out, he was meant to come back for her but never did.Miss bee is missing both her back feet/half of her legs due to her old tank mates biting them off,she never received veterinary attention for either. She has also been bitten on her mouth as she is missing all her front teeth and her mouth is indented/crushed in.When she arrived she was prescribed a dewormer and enrocare for a uri. Unfortunately the vet couldn’t see her in person due to lockdown so I weighed bee at home and got the meds delivered.Everything has now cleared up no more worms or coughing! My concern now is that her stubs are very sensitive and I am worried she is in pain. She will kick your hand away if you touch them but I think that is because she is cautious and they are very sensitive. Is there any way we could sort something out for her stubs? She is on Lino and has a fluffy blanket with her and a bed(also rocks etc but nothing sharp or hard), at her old home she was on wood chips her whole life.If anyone had any recommendations that would be great! Or tips or anything would be helpful.Note that she gets around find, never black beards and is no redness or swelling.
I also wanted to ask about a thermostat for night time.I was looking at an on off thermostat for a ceramic heat emitter,it was the microclimate ministat 100 on/off.Would that be a good heat source for her night time hear source?
Sorry for how long this is and for all of the questions any help would be much appreciated thank you!
