Switched his light first thing this morning. Since he had progressivly gotten worse demeanor lately. I believe this may have been due to his UV source. I had a Solar Glo 160 watt in there. The light wasn't old but, I felt it was worth a shot. switched it out for what I know had worked well for him in the past, Powersun 160 watt.

Anyways after the switch, he has ate some of his salad, found time to come out and show his bright colors. I had almost forgotten how bright this guy gets.
The picture quality is fairly poor but, he still spooks when something comes into his enclosure, I am hoping to change this.

What temps are you getting with it? I might have to buy one. I feel reptisuns don't do their best for Uro's

Generally around 112-122°F depending, door/window open.

How far is your powersun from his basking point?
I want to get the 160w powersun too, but I want my temps to be higher than yours.

Mine sits at about 14.5 inches from the hot spot on the enclosure floor.

BTW last I checked it was 117°F.

Ok Calcifers is about probably 8 inches or so...

So I could get the temps I want, I would probably just have to raise it up a little maybe?
Did you get yours from petmountain?

LOL the one I got from petmountain was a used dead one. The one I got instead was from a local pet shop. Petsmart didn't have the 160 watts on the shelf only the 100 watt version.
