lately one of my female beardies has been gaging or gasping.. shes eating and drinking normally but she opens her mouth and gags.. i have no idea what this is from.. the crickets shes eating are 2\3 so they are smaller than the space between her eyes.. shes also on reptile so its not impaction from particle substrate. her tank is at the proper temp and shes pooing regularly..what can be causing this??

Hello,
Sorry your dragon isn't doing well..can you see any mucous in his mouth. What are his temps and what is the humidity? Not sure,,but sounds like it could be URI. You should pm Drache613,,,she is one of the moderators and will be able to help you out more than I.
Good luck,
Kelly

Hello,

Please review your tank set up with us, such as your UVB lighting, temperatures & the type of thermometer used.
That can help us trouble shooting.
For now, keep the tank around 80 overnight to help boost her immune system also in case she may be having a respiratory infection.
Is her beard black at all?

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
