A week or two ago I spotted a black spot on my beardie's foot. So I started putting some Lotrimin Ultra to keep it from spreading until my dad droe her to the vet. Two days ago I saw another dark spot, this time on her side I've been putting cream on that too. I've also steamed her cage and I'm soaking her wooden decor. Now the black spot on her side has spread by a lot overnight, but the spot on her foot is still the same. Are there any remedies for this? My dad hasn't taken her to the vet yet for some reason, I'm about to give her a betadine bath.

Need to have our vet tech look -- she's on here late at nite- flagging to her

Hello,

That does look suspicious. Are you giving any baths yet, just the betadine bath? Just to help prevent any further spreading, go easy on the baths since water does promote the spreading of fungus. The lotrimen should help. Did the vet not give her anything else for it, or did he do a skin culture to have it analyzed for fungal issues?
You can also try some raw unpasteurized honey also. Are you using a solid substrate too or a loose type?

Let us know how she is doing.

I haven't used any substrate, just tile. We haven't taken her to the vet yet even though I've asked, we're supposedly going on Monday. She seems to be doing fine, her behaviour hasn't changed at all.

Hello,

Ok, great. I'm glad that you are using tile instead of a loose substrate to help keep the skin cleaner.
Let us know how the vet visit goes for you. Is she eating pretty well & basking normally?
Keep us posted on her progress.

Hmm the discoloration seems to have spread to her right side now, but yesterday her left side discoloration faded and shrank a little.

Hello,

That is very strange, you can post a few updated pictures too if needed. Are you still using the lotrimen daily as well?

Yep, I checked her today and it looks like the discoloration faded a bit

Hello,

It does look better, finally! Continue to use the lotrimen right now, since it does seem to be helping him. Is he eating well
too?

Hi there, that just looks like natural color. Some dragons have " tiger " barring that is expressed at some times just according to mood or temp. The spot on the foot just looks like a tiny blemish, not fungus. :)

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
