Full back shed! How long?

My poor little girl is about to shed her whole back, she has been very lethargic and moody for about a week now! She is obviously saving all her energy to shed! I can see her breathing in and out heavily trying to puff her back out. She has shed on one foot too, I am keeping her hydrated, she still has a huge appetite and is pooping fine! My question is how long will she be like this? We have not really been able to touch her for a week, Her skin must be so irritable!

It really depends. My guy has had a patch on his back for almost three weeks now and it's just starting to peel off. If she likes baths she may enjoy a soak to help ease the shed a bit (if she doesn't enjoy baths don't force them). Otherwise she'll get rid of it eventually. They're designed to do it.

Thank you, she likes baths so I have been bathing her every other day to help her. Poor soul 3 weeks!
