Friendly suggestion to the power(s) that be

hey i was going over my "view your posts" section of the control panel and i was thinking that there should be some sort of way to delete posts that are ancient and have been locked if there locked that probably means your not going to look at them again and if you are then dont delete.

just a thought i had in mind when i noticed i had 7 pages of old topics i've posted in.

Yeah... unfortunately, that would require modification of the forum's base software. While I'm capable, I really try to avoid changing the base code, as it makes applying updates a nightmare. I did that a bit prior to the last major upgrade, and it was always a major undertaking to just apply simple updates (sometimes causing an outage of the forum until I fix it).

sounds like nasty business, that being the case i probably wouldnt want to alter the base code either not to mention if i altered the base code of this forum there would be no forum (i cant code anything haha).

either way keep up the good work this forum rocks the Reptillian community!!!
