Freyja doesn't want to eat veggies

Over the past few days, Freyja hasn't been eating all of her veggies. She usually gets excited when she sees me coming with her food dish, but now she couldn't care less. Today she didn't want to eat them at all. I tried putting some superworms in the dish with the veggies and she just picked out the worms. I picked up a piece of collard greens and put it in front of her, and she arm waved.

I wonder if maybe it could have to do with shedding. She isn't actually shedding yet, but her head is looking a little more pale than usual and she's been puffing up her body a lot. She's about a year and a half old according to my vet. When I first got her in late October, she was shedding and she would still eat her veggies.

Each shed cycle can be a bit different. Perhaps this one is bugging her more than usual. The pale head and puffing out are signs that a shed may be coming on which can affect appetite. If she is pooping normally, shows a decent amount of energy, and isn't losing weight, I wouldn't worry too much about it at this point but keep offering salad as you normally would so she can get back to it when she's ready.

Alright. I cut up a strawberry to put in her dish and she went berserk over the strawberry but only accidentally ate some of her greens. I put her food in the fridge in case she wants it later today.

Other than not eating her veggies and puffing up, she's acting like her usual self.

Interesting. Maybe the color of the strawberries grabbed her attention. Do you rotate the items in your salads? Perhaps she's just tired of what she normally gets. If you can get some yellow squash (or any kind of squash really) give that a try. I cut that up into little worm shapes and it's usually a pretty big (and healthy) hit in salads. It's a good sign that she's acting like her usual self for the most part.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
