Freezing Roaches

So I have been wanting to switch to dubia from crickets since I got my dragon. I can not have a live colony so I cam up with this. I will order 500 mediums for 35.00 shipped. When I get them I will put them all in big zip lock bags and freeze them. Then feed em as I need em. Will this work? I know places sell frozen roaches so why not?

I don't see why not. Maybe you should gut load them first? But allow them to thaw so your beardie isn't eating little ice cubes.

Yes I would let them thaw. My crickets when I freeze them get extremely hard so I dont think she could even eat them until they were defrosted.
