I have trouble using up fresh foods (squash, escarole, etc) before they spoil, even though I try to buy small items. I don't want to be wasteful; are there any beardie-friendly fresh foods that I can divvy up and freeze parts of for later? I don't want to freeze something if it will ruin the nutritional balance/make it unpalatable.
