(I originally posted this on the For Free bulletin, so sorry for the repeat)
I have had my beardie for a few months now, and I love him to death. Unfortunately, it looks like I may be moving back to Ontario in the near future and I don't want to put Spike (aka Piggy) through the trouble of making the drive back home. This decision isn't 100% yet, but I thought I would plan ahead and see if anyone would be willing to take care of my little guy when I leave. He is about five years old, fairly large (about 20 inches) and very friendly. I've never heard him hiss and have never even seen him puff up or turn his beard black. He's a really pleasant little dragon.
The only problem is that he will need a vet visit. The reason I may be moving back to Ontario is because I lost my job here in Delburne, therefore, I haven't been able to take my Piggy to see a vet, which he really needs to do.
Spike will be free to a GOOD home, including a VERY large tank, lights, powerbar, cricket keeper tank, cricket food, calcium and vitamins.
It breaks my heart to let him go, but it will be better for him to find a new loving family instead of making a cross-country trip. If anyone is interested in caring for my little guy, you can reply to this post or e-mail me at [email protected]. Pictures of Spike and his tank are also available for anyone who is interested.
