This is Fred, he is approximately 7 months old, just under 12 inches in length. His setup is temp for the moment while we save up for either the exo terra 36x18x18 or the Nat Geo vivarium of same size. He only really in in his tank when he's sleeping or after eating so he can bake. otherwise he is either running around my son's room or in the backyard. he has a healthy appetite and goes bananas for dandilions and miners salad. he gets his daily crickets and will get treats of either mealworms, superworms or waxworms. he chews up his food really good so we're not too worried about impaction, plus he will bake in his 110 F spot quite often so its getting digested good. Got sand in his sleeping spot which he likes to flatten out into at night. he is an awesome hunter and doesn't really miss his strikes so no swallowing sand for him. rest of cage is slate tile and brick to give him slight elevation change and food dishes are slightly walled so no big messes. he will usually eat commercial food pellets in the morning before I get a chance to get his greens in and after my son gets home from school we give em his crickets. Finally figured out how the upload system really works so I can now get some more photos of him in!
