Fred is a grumpy cuss...

He just shed his tail and now it looks like his head and arms and back are waxy white and he's about to shed it too...He is scratching his head on his log a lot and frankly, he hates the world right now. LOL. He doesn't want to be picked up, eat, or even be looked at. All he wants is to bask and get this dead skin off. Im giving him a bath at least once per day since my little girl is with me this week. She LOVES interacting with Fred, but Fred isn't too thrilled right now.

Anything I can do to make him feel better?

Hi Allen :wave: it sounds like Fred is a typical beardie.

All my beardies are grumpy when shedding too. Poor babies if there were only more we could do to get that shed going. Sounds like you are doing what you can with the baths that usually helps some. One other thing which is kind of long term is that Fred eats a good diet with lots of greens. As they get older it seems they don't have as difficult of a time of shedding if they are good salad eaters. :wink:

You could also get a soft childs tooth brush and gently when he is in the tub soaking scrub him lightly to help I know that my male love when I help him with that.
Its not to take the dry scale off to loosen it alittle bit and to moisten it to help the soaking process of getting it to come off alot easier.

Striker looks at me with a sigh of relief when he sees the toothbrush coming lol.
