Hi my 11 month old has for the last 3-4 been behaving very different to usual. She's running from one side of her viv to the other continually glass surfing and wall surfing. When I let her out she's the same running all over the place trying to climb the walls etc occasionally I can pick her up and stroke her till she calms down but that doesn't seem to be a long term solution. She looks completely healthy and no stress lines at all she's eating ok and pooping normally she just seems unable to stay still which is very unbeardie like

My girl Marta would also run around but she would then stuff herself into a dark corner and fall asleep at eleven months. I also asked about it and I was told that it's hormones because though it's the wrong season its the right age and that as long as she's eating and pooping normally its nothing to worry about. She just turned one this December and went into brumation so it stopped. Hope this helps. :)

Our nearly 6th month old has been doing the same. I thought maybe it was because we’re home for the holidays and that is a change in routine though I don’t know whether he usually does it during the day. He’s never done it late afternoon/ evening before. He jumped out of his viv earlier when I opened the door and had a run around. Having read around it could be hormones or perhaps he is seeing his reflection?

I’m thinking of setting up a web cam to see whether he does it during the day when we’re out.

I hope it’s nothing to worry about but he does look desperate to get out though no obvious signs of stress like dark beard. Nothing has changed in his viv and I’ve checked that temps are okay. He’s eating (and pooping) well.

Bless hope it's just hormones. I say she's eating normally but won't let me hand feed her even wax worms so she's moved on to a mainly locust diet which is a shame as I usually try to keep her on predominantly calci worms. She's a fussy little lizard

We give ours mainly locusts with some Dubai roaches and wax worms for variety. I have tried the calci worms but haven’t been very successful in keeping them alive. They just seem to die after two days so there is a lot of waste.

The ones I get seem to last a week ish but she'll even eat the fly they become given the chance of at least she used to. She comes and goes with roaches sometimes she'll eat them and sometimes will go weeks refusing doesn't help I can't find and small ones around here so think she struggles with them

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
