Hello, all. I know some people don't like them, and some people do not use them. I'm interested in trying one and debated on whether to post here or in the DIY. I'm contemplating eithe rmaking, or buying a water fountain.
As long as we have the humidity under control, I'd like to give our beardie a fountain during the day to drink from. I've read that they can't see standing water, but can see flowing water. Unless there is some other sort of water dish that others use that would be better.
I know some here say that their beardies don't lap up water, but I have seen that some do lap up. Our beardie finally lapped a bit a week ago, but hasn't, since. I drip the water down his nose. I found that some prefer to have a water dish, while others do not. Again, as long as I can keep the humidity under control, I'd like to provide that for our beardie. Our winters are dry INDOORS from the heat. But our summers are very humid, so we'll see how that goes.
I began giving our beardie a water dish over a month ago, and it had no affect on the humidity in the viv. It stayed at below 20%, actually. Again, this can change as Spring time is now here, and the weather is warming up.
Has anyone made a fountain? Has anyone bought a fountain? If so, can you please share what fountain you have? How has it worked out?
