Food Logs and Supplements

I recently started making a record of the exact food my beardie eats, treats and if the meals where dusted or not (as well as for my Mali Uromastyx) and have been able to stay more consistant with a VERY well balanced dietary regement. I just used excel to make a chart and printed out the weekly chart and keep record of it. Has anyone else tried doing this, I would recommend it so far, it has really helped keep track of what I am feeding my beardie (and mali). Also another quick question which I am got confusing results on is calcium dusting and D3. Some people say to do it everyday and it is vital, others say the it is vital to only supplement 2 times a week or risk a "overdose" and cause a calcifying of the internal organs.

It depends on how old your dragon is. The most common supplementation routine I've heard suggested (and use myself) is that a young growing dragon should get one meal of bugs a day dusted 5x a week with calcium and then 2x a week with a vitamin powder. Once your dragon is an adult that gets cut back to 2x a week calcium and 1x a week vitamins.
