Follicles or not?!?

Hello all

I am really confused as to weather my 5yr old girl is gravid or not.

She has been mated with 3x, last time being 24th November.

She’s had 2 xrays to check for follicles, 1st x-ray was taken on the 14th December and 2nd x-ray taken today.

Vet says no follicles but I can clearly see round structures in there (yes and a **** ton of fat and a full bowel in the second X-ray.

Would love to see if others can see what I can. Could just be me wishful thinking I guess

I don't see anything there. BTW, she's a very big girl so be careful that she does nor become obese. Contrary to what might seem logical, fat beardies have more trouble + chance of becoming eggbound because the fat crowds the entire reproductive tract. Don't tell her I said that, she's probably very sensitive right now !

Oh yes believe me, I know she's overweight, she's 800g and I want to shave at least 200g off her. ?

I'm going to have to figure out a diet plan for her, it was the reason I for her x-rayd, I didn't want to put her on a huge diet if she needed the protein for egg production.

What does she eat every day ? Insects should be limited to just a few twice a week, but plenty of greens. Exercise by daily running free in the house under close supervision in a warm room [ look for ANY small objects that could be swallowed like coins, small plastic toys, paper clips, etc ] You might put a short cat perch near a window + teach her to climb up it + repeat it daily. Or roll a blueberry across a wood or linoleum floor to get her moving. [ hopefully ]

She's not touching greens, I have as feeding insects once a week and salad daily for a month and she wouldn't touch the salads so I got worried if she was gravid she would have issues with such limited intake. Calcium was my biggest concern, if she wasn't eating she wasn't getting calcium for egg production.

However with the opinion she isn't gravid, I will put her back on that diet.

It's the middle of summer here and she has a big outside enclosure I put her in but she tends to bask for a small time then hide and stay there all day
