Fluorescent light fitting

Hi so after asking for some info on stuff i would need for my vivarium i went and had a look around some shops today. Managed too get a background picture and linoleum for it.
I came across a fluorescent light fitting in homebase and was wondering if it would be okay once its screwed into the top of my viv..

I'll obviously be replacing the light tube with one from the pet store!!

From what i see this one should work. Just make sure you know how to wire it up since it doesn't come with a cord.
