Fluke Eggs - where did they come from?

Hi -
My beardie is (very thankfully) recovering from having fluke eggs in her stool. She also had a pretty awful RI which the vet set was likely a result of having had the fluke eggs so bad. I'm just wondering if anyone has had experience with them and where they possibly came from. From what I've read they're a nematode and the only thing I can think of is that the fruit flies around my dubia colony over the summer could have caused it.

I use about 1/2 and 1/2 of dubia and superworms as a staple along with collard/turnip greens for her diet. I'm going to freeze my dubia colony because I don't trust them now but is there any way it could have been the supers, or something else? Our other dragon has eaten the supers (and not the dubia) and had a fecal done too with no evidence of them.

I want to start another fresh colony but never want to go through this again. Any insight is much appreciated.

Thanks!!

Hello :) I am glad your beardie is getting better. I don't know about the eggs but I would message Drache613 (tracie) she is a monitor on here and knows a lot. She might know.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
