Flavorless Jello Safe?

I read here on this website that unflavored gellitan is safe to use for dragons, just in moderation. I want to make him a big old birthday treat and I heard it was safe to mold unflavored jello in a cup and fill it with meal worms. I also want to know if its okay for her to have a small bit of frosting on it (Like a finger full). Please reply and if this isnt safe can you give me some ideas to use for a cake shaped treat?

Not sure about the gelatin. Hmm. What if you made "cupcakes" instead of a cake, and cut veggie/fruit chunks into cupcake-shaped pieces? As for frosting, I don't think I'd be comfortable with something like actual frosting, but would go with something that's guaranteed safe, like soy yogurt.
It's probably best to take a "better safe than sorry" approach to everything, but maybe that's just me!

i like the fruit idea, but it sounds kind of time consuming. i think i am going to find out if its safe otherwise i will just use your idea. Thanks

Edit: Oh! What about a fancy "layer cake" with thick slices of fruit? Just thought of that
