So Angie is going thru this "Phase" ...be it puberty, semi-brumation, whatever, it's going to be interesting WHEN she does go thru a real brumation!
I took her to the vet a week ago - everything came out fine. Even her white cell count was A-OK! But she just doesn't always eat or poop. So she goes approx. 5 days with me syringe feeding her a combo of Critical Care mixed with water, liq. calcium and babyfood chicken or squash, then after the 5th day or so, she'll eat maybe 5 supers. Her poops (when she does them) aren't nearly as large as they normally were but they are normal. She's hanging out on her basking area most times as well.
She's putting me thru the ringer though that's for sure! What we do for our critters - sheesh!
I had to dump the grubs as she wasn't eating them and they were dying off. I have roaches but not sure I'm willing to try them just yet ...will see. I don't have a lot of nymphs as I'm just a month or so into getting my colony going. Maybe I'll wait another 5 days (since she ate supers today) and see if she'll eat a roach!
