Fish tank

I found a good size 20 gallon fish tan on Craigslist for my beardie...my other tank shattered at the top and it's not working properly.
It has no filters which is really good. Before I contact the seller about the tank, could I get a screen to slide over the top? If so, how??

I don't know how fancy or nice you want it to look but you could buy or find some scrap screen and some wood and make you own. By scrap I mean see if they have any left over pieces that couldn't be used for regular screen windows. I made a lid for my fish tank out of left over plexi glass I had from my doors. I upgraded to a 20 gal and wasn't going to pay $40 for a 20 gal tank when I had a perfectly good 10 gal tank. You could also find an old screen and cut it down that way its metal on the edges. Hope that helped

Not trying to flame you or any thing but you should try and find a bigger tank, you can get a nice one one creigs list, or wait for petco to have the $1 / gal sale. Bearded dragons need at least a 40 gal breeder to be happy

He's only a new baby...so I only need a 20gallon.

That's good, just make sure you upgrade as he grows, I hate seeing these guys cramped and unhappy as most are kept by stores and unknowlageable people

I knoww! It's like sereiously? Can't they afford a bigger tank for the little guys?? It makes me so sad
