Hey there I have an old 55 gallon fish tank I am about to start cleaning for a bearded dragon, there are hard water stains on the glass is it ok to clean it with CLR and rinse REAL well? I know its not safe for fish but would it be ok with a beardie?

It should be, you can also wash it out with bleach and water. Just make sure it is rinsed well and aired out prior to adding your beardie.

Will my enclosure work for a beardie? it is 14wx19hx48l I was thinking the width isnt going to be wide enough so what I would do is use this until it starts getting bigger and this would give me time to build one!

Hey, your tank will do him good for a while. He has lots of room to grow. That's about as long of an enclosure as some people give their beardies. My display case in my living room is only 46 long and 18 wide and it provides my guys with lots of room to move. But once they are full grown, the bigger the better. There is no limit on how big as long as it has all the nessecary husbandry and lighting.

Ha ha that's awesome. They are so fun. It might be a little big to start off with for a little guy. But it will do for a while
