Hello..
Well the truth is I have Joey for almost 2 weeks, but now I am ready to introduse him to you
I wanted to buy snake, corn or python so I went to local pet store. Never wanted animal I would have to feed with live insect. Well and then I saw cute little bearded dragon. Not even 10 minuts later I was paying at cash register. That sad I know I was doing mistake, I almost never buy anything whithout homework. I left him there so I can get terarium and other stuff. Week later I take him to his new home.
He is helthy as far I can tell. Eating like pig.
I tryed to feed him cricets, but they are too fast for me.
And lets just say I "hunt" 20 cricets from big insect box for like 30 minuts and Joey inhales them in like 30 seconds.
Then I try roaches. Seller was like, they slow and cant clime glass. Well from 30 I bought more like 10 are free now..
Thank god for locusts. They are amazing. For me...Easy to catch and Joy loves them..
Joey grew more then 2cm in a week and gain more then 30g.
Since I got him I learned a lot. Well almost everthing pet store seller told me was bad..
I get rid of sand and gave him tile. Bought him mutch better lights - UV mercury solar lamp for UVB and heat and one more UVA light.
One more mistake I did was.. The locust I gave him was adult ones (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h89iFUqtZvQ).. Hes eaten all 100 I bought whitout problem, but from what I read here, it could end up bad.. I order medium ones.. But It is sad you cant belive anything seller tells you..
So thats about it..
