Hey everyone! First time owning a Bearded Dragon! I've always wanted one as a kid [ I'm 24 now ]. I did have a Green Iguana as a kid. He got pretty big and my parents gave him away
I was super stuck in between getting a Red Iguana or a Bearded Dragon but after doing tons of research on both. I decided on the Dragon
Without further a do ! Here he is!
I got him from The East Bay Vivarium! I'm sure some of you on here know of the place and possibly even go there!
His name is ' King ' or ' Dodongo ' . ' Dongo ' for short. Named after the Fire Dragon in The Legend f Zelda: Ocarina Of Time
He's mostly chill. Lets me pet him. A little jumpy some times. He's sitting on his basking branch now staring at me tilting his head as I type this up. He doesn't mind my hand in the tank at all for the most part. I'll start working on holding him after another week or so of just petting
He's been eating great! At lease 25 crickets a day. I think he has even snuck in some Kale when I wasn't looking! He currently lives in a 40gallon tank.
Can't wait to share more photos with you guys as he grows
