FIRST TIME EATING ROACHES

OK so after a 2 month of not wanting to eat crickets we finally got him to try some roaches and as you can see by the picture he really likes them, i did make hubby put them in there but he really liked them he ate 3 of them, so we went out yesterday to a pet store and they had horned wormes and we got a few to let him try and at first he did not care but after it moved a little he ate it up. i did do my reading though and he will get 3 to 4 roaches a day, and horned worms as a treat . i am just glad to see that he is finally eating (meat) again. i know i have said this before but i need to say it again THANK YOU ALL for being here and the help you have given us that are new to beardies and if they could talk i am sure they would say the same

Thank You he was actually from a pet store , but knowing what i do now any more will come from breeders here, he was the only one in the tank that had that color to him the rest were grayish. i have even taken to picking up the roaches with tweezers of course to feed him. oh yeah and i just weighed him today he is now 290 grams yeah for roaches.

I fed my guy crickets when i got him for the first 3 months while my roach colony grew. Since the roaches....crickets blow. The tank i feed him in, there has been a cricket running around there for a week...he wont touch it..lol. I've never seen him move so fast for a feeder, its almost...ninja.
