First Shed????

Just how old are beardies when they have their first shed?

Well they actually shed around their mouths in the first couple of days after hatching though you can't really notice it. But usually in my house they shed within the first week or 2, but keep in mind they are all different....and many things determine growth rate. However shedding is a good sign of growth. :wink:

They said they thought he was four weeks when I got him and I'll have him two weeks this Sunday so he should be six weeks old if they were right. He's starting to look like he's shedding a little around his mouth and his tail looks a little whitish? I'm proud of him. He's starting to eat some greens. I've been putting them out for him ever since I got him but he just started to eat them a little the last couple of days. I've been placing a pinch of them on his favorite limb every morning before feeding him his crickets. I've done that for the last four days and it finally has paid off.
