He is gettin there but still a little way to go!!! I'm trying not to over do the protein but he still doesn't understand what salad is!!!! Some days he won touch it at all- same with locusts, somedays he will have 4 or 5 n then he won't have any for 2 days!!! The fat pads on his heAd are starting to fill out tho and he's def able to move aroud more easily- his feet stay in front of him most of the time now!! He's pooping every day now too- always on his basking rock tho which poops him I to quite a mood and he goes off n huffs in the corner til it's gone!!

he is a beautie! i empathize with what you are going through because i just rescued a beardie of my own just two weaks ago. Bindi doesnt seem to have any physical problems, but i am worried that since she was undernourished before i got her, she might have similar problems when she reaches maturity. i have consulted a few people and have done a lot of research and found that these problems are reversable for the most part. i believe Huff is very fortunate to find an owner such as yourself and i believe you will be able to give him the love and care he needs to restore him back to full health it was good to hear that you redid his habitat, i had to invest 200 dollars in the fist two days of rescuing Bindi just to get her somewhat comfortable, and her enclosure is still less than ideal. it was wise of you to limit him too a lower reach due to his lack of dexterity, and i hope that this passes with the care you are providing and he deserves. you have my best wishes, good luck to the both of you!!!

He looks like a great little guy. Sods law with the salad huh? Looks like your going down the offering-him everything line till he tries something. Always great fun at the market stall when i take home a bag containing: 1 sprout 2 fine beans 1 apple 2 cherries etc haha.

I wouldnt worry too much about him being wobbley. Even if he has some MBD issues you can build his muscle strength up to help. Ruben and Miso got so much stronger after I did water exercises with them for a few months.

hehe, iv been totally MIA the past few weeks - my computer is being extremely temperamental and so iv been keeping up with everyones threads via my phone - today is the first time I have managed to get my computer to switch on in 3 days!!!! So now I have the crazy task of trying to get every file off of it before it decides to switch off again as I need to send it to be fixed ARGH!!!! Thanks lizard and Holly for your support!

Holly, he LOVES swimming! He would spend all day in there if I let him... although, he seems to think that he MUST poop in the bath.... he had just pooped in his viv yesterday when I put him in the bath and about 10 mins later he started pushing with all of his might to try to poop again! I worry that hes going to end up prolapsing with all that effort he puts in for nothing!!

All 3 are still on salad strike. In fact, Huff has eaten 1 locust in the past 4 days, Kazi has had 3 and Phoebe has had 4! It will do them no harm tho - perhaps they will get hungry and remember that salad = yummy!

Hi Christina,I've been wondering where you've been! I'm sorry you are having computer problems
That is great Huff likes his baths but very strange that he keeps trying to "go" even though nothing is coming out :? Are his poops normal?

I thought it was a little odd.... Kazi and Phoebe are on poopy strike at the moment - Phoebe hasnt gone for a week and Kazi hasn't gone since Wednesday!! Huff is very regular tho - he goes every day in exactly the same spot. As hes so regular they are smaller poops that Kazi and Phoebe do but I do think they are normal... I dont know whats up with him when it comes to bath time poopys!!!
