Okay, so ... my tank is just about fully set up and we're almost ready to bring a Beardie home. I want to buy food a day or so before we bring our new family member home so I'm not relying on cruddy pet store insects. What would you order if you had no idea what size Beardie you'd be getting? My husband is going to stop at a specialized reptile pet store on his way home from work and pick one out for me, preferably a juvie but not too young. I was thinking of getting some small crickets, dubia or baby hornworms and some reptiworms. What greens should we have on hand?

Thanks in advance!

If you are getting a baby/juvenile then you will need lots of food. I would order butters, baby supers, horns and repti-worms but not depend on them for staples due to the cost. You will want crickets or dubia in bulk, preferably 1000 or so.
For greens try collards, endive, escarole or turnip greens. Mustard greens are good too but some younger dragons don't care for the taste.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
