ok so still seeing deaths and my food is down to cricket food and fish food wich ive seen other people using for their colonys. However today i noticed a bunch of little worm like bugs wich are to small to get a picture with my labtop. They move fast and are small as a thumb tack pointy end, they appear to be eating the dead dubia.

I order from GeorgiaCrickets.com. They ship overnight and my orders are really generous. I haven't found any dead ones since my initial order in January. My breeding bin I only open every few days to add food and water while getting old food out. The little worm things you are finding are some sort of cleaner beetle. They smell horrible but are supposed to eat the crud. Whenever I get a new shipment I try to pluck them out. Good luck!

The problem i see with that site is that they require ups shipping and the nearest center they deliver to is a 40minute drive for me where the last site i ordered from dubideli delivered to my pobox wich is a 5 minute drive. Dubideli is currently out of stock on the larger size dubia that Daenarys needs also so i might have to try that site if i dont find another one.

That would be a problem then. There is a man that sells them on here. His information is under feeders. Hope you find a good supplier.

My two went through 92 dubias yesterday!

Abdragons sells on ebay (they have listings here) and are in Ohio I think. I got mine from them and they are going strong.

Did you figure out the food thing? It might be worth trying to play it safe and only offer very basic things, like well washed veggies? Squashes do well to feed roaches and don't get foul too quick. Food meant for other animals may have to much of something, or even a additives. A good roach chow or even just veggies and alfalfa pellets would probably be way better for the dragon anyway.

The worms are likely dermestid beetles.

You can try looking around on Craigslist and such. There's often local
reptile owners with colonies who are looking to unload extras.

I know when I'm culling down my colony, I'll offer them cheap on CL, with the
caveat that I won't ship them, local pickup only.

unfortunatly ive never found or seen any feeders of any type on craigslist in my area. I do check at least once or twice a month though just incase. Ab dragons seems to be the one im going with i just need things to be slightly warmer in order for them to ship, wich will hopfuly be monday of next week.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
