Ok I didn't have the money to finish Booger's new viv like I wanted, but I did get it done with what I had at home today. first pic is of Booger checking out her new viv, without a front on it.

looks like she loves it. here are some more pics of her in it. I didn't think she would climb up the ramp , but when I set her lights up, put the temp probe up there and came back half hour later to check temps, she is up there. she runs up and down the ramp. She loves her cave, I got the look of wow mom, I can fit in here. She has not stressed at all. I am getting drift wood from a friend tomorrow, will cut it in 2 and do something with it in there.

Thanks, I have lots more to do, but just to get her out of the small viv she was in is a big plus. She sure seems to love her new home. She was checking everything out and loves the ramp up to her basking light, which I didn't think she would climb up. Tomorrow I am getting some drift wood I will cut in half and clean it, bake it and put it in there so she can climb on it

I had to do a little more things today, didn't really have money for glass doors, and made the mistake of putting screen on the front, she climbed up to the top twice so I fixed it today, she just loves it, runs up and down her ramp, not hiding all the time like before, got a nice piece of driftwood for it today, here are a few pics of her.

Who cares if it's not a fancy vivarium with all kinds of expensive features? What matters is that Booger loves it & she loves you! We can't all afford to build those fancy vivs like Rango's Owner  (Rango & Bailey must love that viv, cause I checked out your thread!) I think it's so generous of you to take the time to build Booger something to upgrade her. Who cares if it's not made out of some fancy, polished, stained wood? It's very nice to have that but not everyone can afford it. It's just a plus. To me, as long as it's safe and the occupant (in this case, Booger) is happy in it, that's all that matters. GREAT JOB, I'm truly liking Booger's new home!

As for you guys saying what you call your Beardies for nicknames, my Beardie's name is Fiz, and I usually call him Fiz-Aloo  We all love our babies! :)

Thanks so much PumpkinJelly! They really do love their viv's!

@Bwalter: SOOOOOOO!??!?!! How does she like it!!?!?!?! Has she adjusted well to it? Did you see any signs of relocation stress?

I'm sure they do! I really want to build a viv like yours, with the DIY rocks and all. Since I only have one Beardie that's mine, I want to do one like yours but with one single tank-area. It looks SO great, and I saw you got your inspiration from Jess (I don't blame you, her vivs are AWESOME!!) Rango & Bailey are sooo cool! I wish they could meet Fiz

Booger loves her new viv. She has been in it for almost a month now. I still have more work to do, but at this time no money but she has more room to run. She loves her cave, way big for her. Now her thing is instead of using the ramp, she like to jump off the top of her cave. I only made it 10" tall tho. I did get her a heat lamp for at night. Boy, they are not cheap, but she stays warm. I still need to get a reptisun tube to go all the way across her viv. I still just have the 18" by her basking lamp, but will have to do for now. When I get more batteries for my camera will get more pics of her. :blob5: :blob8: BTW, no relocation stress at all, I moved her into it one week, then moved in with my mom the next week. Booger adjusts well to anything.

I used a water based primer and sealer in one. I put 2 coats on it. I got a small can of it for like $18 at home depot.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
