first custom build tank

ok so i decided to build a tank. A huge tank. lol. I followed Crossfire's instructions. Its a 48x24x24. Spend about 185 on the tank itself and about 50 dollars on extra tools nd stuff. Comming to a whopping 230 spent(well worth it). Was working on it all week and now its finnally done.

....well about 99.9 percent done. jus gotta screw on the light to the wood and tuck the wires away.

It looks great. I cant wait to build mine, but I have a question. Are those dimentions good for a fully grown beardie or I will have to build one bigger later ? :idea:

You did a great job building the viv. The fun part is decorating it and adding the beardie.

4x2x2 is a great size for an adult beardie. Would not need to build a bigger one.

thanks guys, yea it was fun building it just becasue i knew how nice it was going to be when im done with it. i just got all my supplies from petmntain.com today. So im excited to put all my new stuff in and make the enclosure extremely nice and "like home".

Damn man that is straight up PRO lol nice job, I also made my own custom cage *4x2x2* And I spent about probably $150-180 on the tank, but also very worth it.

Was very satisfying knowing that I built it and put in the time and stuff ya know ?

I have a question. I've been thinking about making my own tank but I want to know if I can keep the lamps I already have or I have to buy a bigger one? The size of my UVB is 18" long.
