Hi, i´m not sure this is the right place for this question, if not please remove it to the right one.
I´m thinking of adding a new male to my dragons and i was looking for a yellow one in particular. I checked their website and their dragons seem to be out of this world...
Have anyone had any experience buying from them? are these beardies really that yellow? any opinion about them will be appreciated
Thanks

i live in the u.k , i currently have 1 from america and 2 from the england rep. I do have to say terry is very blunt and not easy to understand at times but shes a brilliant breeder. my male is fantastic bright citrus yellow head and orange body, he had now just sired his first clutch of eggs at a year old and is really stunning. my females as worlds apart in diffrence in colour than there parents but a stunning all the same. just make sure you say what you want and get confirmation , the younger the dragon the harder it is on sexing. and ask for the clutch number of your baby. i expected a five month old female and got a maybe at a guess 2/3 month old male. ( i do have to say everything was sorted out and they were both more than helpful) especially the u.k rep.

There are a lot of unhappy posts on faunaclassifieds about them. If you do a search in the bio over there you can draw your own conclusions. I wouldn't do it.

I called and spoke to them once because I was also interested in a super citrus. To reserve a baby they told me it was 600 bucks. I haven't seen any bad stuff about them anywhere but I decided that 600 bucks just to reserve a baby that was not even hatched yet was way too expensive.

i payed int total £1,000 for two , merlin is worth his weight in gold . I suppose you have to really weigh up what you want and why. i dont want to disrespect anyone so all i have to say is i was stressed to bits , if you google terrys full name as stated make up your own mind. for me inporting two beardies and paying a total stranger £1,000 pounds and waiting 8 months until there arrival was just something i wouldnt put myself through again. saying that mark the fire and ice english breeder was amazing and delt with it all. i could not put in words my dissapointment when i went to pick them up i cryed....( not for merlin but for my very tiny he/she ).. i suppose its each to there own ,

Thanks guys! i just checked the fauna threads as well. There are mixed opinions about her but they are enough to make me not want to buy from her. I prefer not to risk my money and what's more important, the health of an animal. Thanks again

Where do I go to look at the reviews on faunaclassifieds. I registered on the site but I'm not sure where exactly to search or find the reviews.

Go to the Board of Inquiry, or the BOI, it's the forum in RED. I find it to be an easy site to navigate...

We just got a beardie from fire and ice. I found Terri VERY knowledgable and we got a beautiful, sweet and very healthy dragon. Terri could sometimes sound a little abrupt on the phone or in e-mails but I'm sure that's in part due to getting a ton of calls and e-mails a day. Overall, we're very happy so far. It's good to feel like we have a connection to a breeder who we really do trust to give good information.

I bought my male citrus tiger from fire and ice about 5 weeks ago and had no problems at all. I checked out the Board of Inquiry on fauna and only found one thread on fire and ice where Terri and some guy had a disagreement and was resolved.

I would agree with bonz152 that Terri can be short with emails and can miss questions within an email. The best way to communicate is over the phone, too much info gets lost in exchanging emails.

I was satisfied and have 2 more dragons "on order" with a couple of up upcoming clutches. If you want to pre-order from a clutch, you pay upfront and get put on a waiting list. when the clutch is ready to ship, she will pick out the best colors and ship them to you where the best color will go to the first on the waiting list and on down. It's a bit risky in my opinion but hey, it's only money

I gotta say that they do produce some of the most gorgeous dragons I have seen. To me though the money ain't pocket change and I like to see what I am buying before I pay. I never liked the waiting list game. I do love looking at their dragons though. I'm gonna see if ya got any pics up :D If not then post some!!!!! lol

I don't have any pics yet, my poor guy has been in shed mode pretty much since I got him. His head is all faded grey and his main body is starting to fade also. if you go to the fire and ice website, under the breeders page, the father is Zeus, and the mother is Venus. I feel I got a pretty good price because my Argos is a tiger and not a walking lemon

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
