Finnaly!!!!

I am so happy that I have to share this with people that understand!! Finnaly I got Skyler to fall asleep on me and snuggle!!! She is small for her age and usually when I have her out she will not stop moving. Even if its late at night. But last night she actually snuggled up and wiggled around to get comfy on me. SO CUTE!! Ive been telling everyone i know but they just look at me like im insane, haha.

I have a question. Can beardies eat too much? I let her eat lots of crickets and PWs but I have never let her keep eating until she refused to eat anymore beucase It seems that she would just keep eating forever. A few days ago I let her eat for 10 mins and she still looked hungery, SHE ATE ALOT. I knew that it was too much and the next day I came home from school and there was poop everywhere in her viv. It loooked like she was trying to poop all day long in different locations. And I wouldnt call it poop becuase it was mostly PWs and CRICKETS. WHOLE CRICKETS that she passed through. It smelled so bad I almost threw up. She was hiding and limp. I have her a nice long bath where she pooped more PWs out. She would not eat when i offered her food. It was very disturbing too see whole crickets in her poop. Anyone know what happend?

She ate too much!

That's the long and short of it. When you increase their food you need to do it a bit at a time. So one day let her eat for 5 mins, then 6 mins, then 7 mins etc. Her belly just got tooooo full and she couldn't digest it all properly.

I'm glad she fell asleep on you. I have yet to have that happen but then I have 4 boys and they all get jealous.

Yep sounds like to much food. I feed the veggies first and then feed crickets( he only eats 1/2 his veggies so has plenty of room for crickets lol) I leave veggies in his viv. If hes hungry a while later he will finish off his veggies. I just add more to his dish.

Isn't it just sweet as can be when they snuggle and wiggle around to get comfy on you?

Elora when feeding her the crickets and PW's just give her one or maybe 2 at a time she will spend more time chewing them and she probably will stop passing them whole.

Thanks guys! The little beardie wiggle is soooo cute!!! Very rewarding

I defiantly noticed that there was more chewing going on when I fed the PWs one at a time. Thanks for the advice! Im really lucky that she was strong enough to pass all of that without any problems. I defiantly learned my lesson!
