And it all together and 2 of the lights in place. Still got decorating to do and the front to get on it.

I decided not to stain the inside because i figured the lightness of the wood would throw the light in every which way and light it up nicely. Also didnt burn the back wood because you wont be able to see it. More to come hopefully.

Got a little closer to being done today. Waiting on my glass to arrive in the morning and then to put on the front deco boards and ill be done. Still have to play with the temps a little. Thank god i got a dimmer. 109* without the front glass on in a airconditioned room.

Heres the final look before i start putting stuff inside. The shoe is there to simulate a higher up basking spot...

Might be a little toasty but its on a dimmer so once the glass is on i can adjust it.

The cool side, once again, no glass on the front so it will change.

A little makeshift hammock for him.

And the double dimmer switch that the lights will run from.

It looks great, there will be plenty of room for him.

The only suggestion I would make is to seriously consider changing the UVB. From the picture it looks like a coil UVB bulb and these are not good for beardies. If you search the forum you can look into this in more detail. You should swap it for a Repti-Sun 10.0 or Arcaida D3 12% UVB - both these bulbs are linear tube bulbs. These bulbs should be placed 6-8" from your beardie at the closest point (preferably the basking spot) and should run 3/4 of the length of the tank. Hope this helps! :D

Would love to see pics when its finished.

Ah yes, correct you are, knew i was forgetting a pic in there somewhere. The coil light is nothing but a ambiance light until I can steal thelast light out of his current viv.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
