Finally got a new UVB...

... from petmountain and it doesn't work. Took almost two weeks to get here, too. Poor Lucien hasn't had a UVB bulb since moving in, just a few minutes of summer sunshine each day. I think I'm going to just spend the extra money and go to the local pet store. Are non-functional ReptiSuns common?

Mine didnt switch on at first. Try flipping it 180 degrees and putting it in the fitting. I dont think it should matter but for some reason it made mine start working.

Sj45 could possibly be talking about the light fixture itself. Is the fixture working properly?

Make sure you keep taking your beardie outside for UVB until you are able to get another ReptiSun! :D

Cant believe it took that long! WOW

I have baught all my Reptisun bulbs from petmountain.com and never had an issue. I would definitly check the housing fixture. You can always go buy the bulb at Petco or Petsmart and return it when you get the others at cheaper price. I do that all the time. I'm new to having beardies and needed stuff right away. Just ran to Petco or Petsmart and paid way over price and returned it when I received the cheaper priced stuff from petmountain.com. I would actually suggest that so your beardie can have the light needed.

If it doesn't work, CALL petmountain. I've heard that people have more issues trying to do returns online. If it is the bulb they should send you a new one.

I emailed them last night. They're sending me a new one and arranged to have the old one picked up on Monday. PetMountain seems to have good customer service.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
