Femoral pores

So my very young beardie is probably only about 2 or 3 months old but i can already see prominent femoral pores... cannot tell at all if there are one or two bulges above the vent yet though... would those pores indicate i have a male? he's only about 4" long snout-to-vent. any thoughts? thanks!

Could you post a picture? And it is possible for females to get femoral pores, just not as likely.

Yes KandK I just took a pic-not sure how well it will turn out since the image has to be very small...

Never mind, I figured it out!! He/she is exactly 4" snout-to-vent, I measured today; with the tail, 10"!

I will post a pic of my other beardie's bottom next for comparison. He/she is WAY bigger-at least 6" s-t-v.

Here's a trick I just learned. Take out your beardie after lights out so its less active and not so likely to squirm away. Set him doen facing away from you. Bent the tale upwards at the base, almost a 90 degree angle. Take a flashlight and shine it through the top of the base, the effect is the same as when you pit a flashlight to your finger tip. You'll see the silhouette of the bumps.

It's the same thing just with a flashlight added to see through the tail. Just makes ot more visible then you aren't questioning yourself. Posting from my phone so I couldn't post the link.
