So one of my females, Cloe is definitely a girl. The boys go nuts when they see her, one has tried to mate her when she escaped from her tank (little gymnastic she is) but i grabbed her in time. However now when she's out with my other girls she starts bobbing, stomping and actually tried to mount a female. None the less I do not let her out with ANYONE anymore. The girls were always great with each other, she's got me so confused.
Now when she's out alone, she runs around to the male tanks and stomps and bobs at them, driving them nuts. She's got at least another 6 months to a year before i would ever let her mate, not that I have any plans on mating her. Is it just hormones? or is this just complete dominance issue or should i be reading more into it?
PS I NEVER let my boys out together EVER, I think they would rip each other apart. They're brutes!
It's so funny, they are all going nuts this time of year I guess hormones raging. My boys will get so ramped up they run super fast right into a wall, back and forth back and forth. I have to give them all their "out" time alone, its pretty time consuming.
