About 3 months ago I got a new Bearded Dragon. She is about 7 months old now.
I have a 9 year old female bearded dragon as well.
Both are housed in my room about 5 feet away from each other in different terrariums.
Well, ever since I got my younger girl, my eldest girl has not eaten her veggies as she usually does and has either hid in her hide for most of the day and if she's out, she will head bob constantly. She eats her insects but thats all, but I usually take her out to feed her insects from a dish.
She has since developed tremors, presumably from the lack of thiamine as she's been consuming little of it (and possibly her old age too). I've been gutloading the superworms I feed as a staple to help with that, but I'm not sure what to do.
Is this a terrestrial thing? I was thinking that it might be, and that she's so distracted with the other that she does not want to eat when I put in her veggies. I'm probably gonna try to take her to the vet soon to check out those tremors. Some input would be nice, too. If I have to move her to another place in the house, I certainly would if it means her chilling out. But her personality has changed since and I just want her to get back to normal. ):
The little one hardly reacts. She used to arm wave in submission but now she doesn't even seem to care. She eats normally and acts normally, honestly.
Both set ups contain the Reptisun 10 bulb. 100 W heat bulbs that get from 98 - 100 degrees. Their cool sides run to about mid, high 70s to 80s.
Your input is greatly appreciated!
