Female attacking Male.

My adult female beardie is about twice the size of my male because my male is still a juvinile. They are not housed in the same enclosure, but when they are out at the same time, she tries to attack him, she got on his back and "rode" him while biting him, it didn't hurt him, we pulled her off of him in time. Is she trying to get him to mate with her? She usually bobs at him but sometimes she waves. so if you have any answers to what she might be trying to do to him please tell me. Thank-you! :D

Hello
How sure are you that SHE is not a HE.Judging by the behavior you just described I would lay odds that she is a male.Males will mount the female and bite the back of the neck as a precursor to mating coupled with the headbobbing I am thinking you need to get both of their sexes checked out because I am thinking you have them crossed. In the meantime I wouldnt put them together because if you have 2 males on your hands he could do some serious damage.

She might be right. I allow several of my females to run free when I am home, and if one of the younger boys happens to be around and gets feisty, the females circle and try to bite the tail. All my females do the same thing when they feel threatened. However, my male made his way from my bedroom, down the hall thru the kitchen, around and all the way to my back room and faster than I could get out from behind my desk, he was on one of the girls backs biting her head flaps. He had to take a cold shower after that.

As irony will have it, one of my females did the same thing this morning to a smaller female. So you're not going crazy. She is probably very dominant and more aggressive. When dragons are alone and around other dragons, they can be completely opposite personality wise. I usually don't have this one female around any other dragons due to her less tame disposition. Somehow the smaller one weaseled out during feeding time and luckily I was only two feet away.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
